Boeger Milagro Reserve 2007

This red wine is a blend of 60% Graciano, 28% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% petit Verdot.  Should have decanted this bad boy, but time constraints (and impatience) kept us from doing that. The interesting blend of grapes was the main reason I choose this bottle.  Spice and fruit on the nose, reminiscent of a big Zinfandel.  Juicy flavors of plum, blackberry, mint and tobacco. This wine is 13 years old and shows the structure of an older wine.  A far older wine the we usually drink.  The more this wine opens, the more the tobacco and mint come forward.  Delicious red.
