Forbidden Root Single File Mosaic

ABV 6.8%

We recently went up to Chicago and made a point of visiting Forbidden Root Brewing. Their Single File Mosaic IPA was one of many beers we tried that day and stood out for me so I took home a four pack of this particular beer so that I could do a proper review. One of the things I love about this IPA is that at 6.8% it is so incredibly drinkable. The beer has a nice hazy, light ochre color in the glass. The aromas are very citrusy and tropical. Flavors are also citrusy but the tropical stands out. The overall profile is light and flavorful and oh so drinkable. I am looking forward to visiting their Columbus, OH location as I have been told that they have different brews specific to that location. Overall…very impressed with the beers from this brewery.
