Bull by the Horns Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

$20.99

Mrs. Bacchanalian and I are always on the look out for wines that hail from Paso Robles, CA. Having visited there on occasion and having consumed a multitude of wines from the region, we are hooked on the big rich fruit that shines in the reds from this area. This Cabernet Sauvignon is from McPrice Myers someone whom I am not familiar with, however the bottle and the description (and the low price point) at our local wine store made us intrigued enough to take a gamble. The Cab pours a very deep, dark purple. Aromas of rich dark berries and a slight smokiness. Black berries right up front on the palate. Juicy fruit with a bit of oaky-ness, spice and a hint of licorice. Tannins are medium. This is a big wine for the price. Can’t wait to have it with the steak I am cooking up tonight.
