Rhinegeist Cloud Harvest 06

This is now the sixth version of Cloud Harvest that local Cincinnati superstar Rhinegeist has produced. I have only reviewed the 03 and 04 versions although I have had the 05 but never got around to an official review. The 03 and 04 versions were solid beers but nothing exciting for me. I had the 05 at their brewery and thought it better than the previous two incarnations of the Cloud Harvest family. This 06 version is by far the best to date. The beer pours a nice golden hazy with minimal head. Very lovely aromas of juicy stone fruit from the pour. The flavors are juicy as well with peach and pineapple. Rhinegeist beers are distinctive to me with their acidity and carbonation. This hazy is a winner for me. I can only hope that they improve off of this one for the 07 version.
