The Franc

$17.99

Getting a good wine under 20 bucks is a real challenge now-a-days. In fact, it is damn near impossible. So when you find one you definitely make a note of it and run to get more. This is one of those buys. I love a good cabernet franc but they are usually far more expensive than other grapes so I do not always choose them. This cab franc wine was a steal at $17.99! From producer Cosentino in Hopland, CA, this wine pours a deep dark burgundy color with nice dark berries and pepper on the nose. The pepper follows over onto the pallet along with juicy black berries and mild/medium tannins. I really enjoyed drinking this wine and will again soon.
